N3 Limapuluh Kota - West Sumatera Heritage Preservation
Office (BPCB - Ind) held a cultural heritage publication in the form of
Cultural Heritage Exhibition on the Site of Megaliths of Belubus of Limapuluh
Kota Regency. (26/10).
Teguh Hidayat, Section Head of Conservation and Development
and Utilization of BPCB West Sumatra said, based on the Law of the Republic of
Indonesia Number 11 Year 2010 About Cultural Heritage.
"Therefore this time we carry out the Cultural Heritage
Exhibition which is located directly on the archaeological site of Megaliths of
Belubus of Limapuluh Kota Regency. With the theme "Generation Caring
Cultural Preserve To Preserve Nation Cultural Assets", in the future we
are expected to be able to provide a complete presentation of the existing
cultural heritage in the District of Limapuluh Kota in particular ", said
Teguh Hidayat.
In addition to the Cultural Heritage Exhibition, BPCB West
Sumatra also held other activities such as painting contest on Culture Preserve
for junior level level on October 28, 2017 and "Gotong Royong"(share work - edt) Site Cleaning
Menhir Belubus followed by the community around the site on 28 October 2017.
"We intend to motivate students to know, love,
protect the existing cultural assets because of academic benefits, and engage
the community to take care in maintaining and preserving the sites in their
area," said Teguh.
Teguh Hidayat further expressed the need for the attention
and the active role of the Limapuluh Kota regency in the inventory activities
of cultural heritage assets and to preserve the preservation of cultural
heritage assets in Limapuluh Kota regency.
"It is expected that in the future people will understand the importance of the existing cultural heritage and with this Cultural Heritage Exhibition Exhibition, people will get more complete information about the assets of past cultural sites and civilizations of the region itself", closed Teguh.(Rahmat Sitepu)
