(Kisah Nyata)

The word of calamity comes from word of ashaaba, yushiibu, mushiibatan, it means that anyone or anything befall in happiness or sadness and also troubles.  However it means generally as a troubles identically.

Allah Swt says:

(TQS. al-Hadid [57]: 22)

It means that something that befall human's life, especially calamity is principly a determinate of Allah.
It proofs that we have no power in fact for calamity coming into our life, as Adam's generation

Then, what will we do when calamity comes? Either, we pray for Allah in focus tenderly with our trust and patience,  optional for calamity given by Allah.  We hope the only Allah's love.

I tell  a calamity of  mine   that my husband, Ispoerwanto, had  an accident on Friday, November 15 2019 at 08.00 WIB.  It happened in Jl Jalan Muh. Seruji, Patrang-Jember, not far from my home. He finally took a surgery of head and trakeostomi, he had critic three times

How such tragic is. At the moment of morning, after coming home from DKT to medicine, my husband directly presented an invitation of Talk Show fromAr-Rahmah, because of noone could be present. It was in Auditorium room, Kabupaten Jember.

A few minutes then, a man guest came knocking at the door, I calmly came  nearby into front of the door to answer his greeting.

"Is it right sir Ispoerwanto's home?", he asked while he was showing husband's Identity Card of mine,

Yes, it is. That is husband's Identity Card of mine.  Did it fall?  Or... did he have an accident ?"

"He has an accident", the man said.

"Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'uun ...."
I just could say this words.

I remember that Allah says in QS al-Baqarah: 156

"(yaitu) orang-orang yang apabila ditimpa musibah, mereka berkata 'Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji‘un' (sesungguhnya kami milik Allah dan kepada-Nyalah kami kembali."

It made us shock, surely. Alhamdulillah I still could be calm,  it seemed not like as my father had motor accident in 1999 which my father had a brainhurt, and couldn"t speak as usual.  I heard that the accident made my heartbeat as stop.  The javanese say  sompoken, do nothing at all.

The man asked me for going soon to see my husband, in order to get help.

I felt confused, whether  the man ride me? Alhamdulillah, I still remembered about norm of islamic at the difficult moment.  It reminded me about the lesson I had learnt.  Islam has command not to continue shalat when someone needs a help without considering their religion or ethnic.

I just took a bag that I brought to DKT this morning to border a seat between us, then directly went to the place, as I asked his address on the way.

"How is my husband?"

"he isnot conscious, madam" he answered,  "When I was on the way home from work, I saw an accident, then I effort to help him"

I thought, may my husband wasn't  so bad, it is probably like an accident at time ago.

"Ya, Allah... ", I took long a breathe

There was so quiet when we got the place. The owner of workshop next to the palce told that someone took my husband to Emergency Unit of RS Subandi. It was not far away about an half of kilometer.  The man directly rode his motor to RS Subandi.

When we got there, I asked someone to find the room, it wasn't difficult for me.  Someone who helped my husband seems my mate of pengajian, I forgot his name because of my worry. May Allah gave him a goodness in life. Aamiin..

I saw my husband so worried.  I felt no tough and worried. He wasn't conscious. His nose bleed, throat like someone would be die. His face was pale, his body was so cold, and his condition was so bad that made nurses panic. I thought on my mind that he would leave me soon. "Ya, gusti Allah, strength me"

I  whispered some words to strength him . I called his name, "dad.. dad... hear me.. you must be strong... you must be struggle and have spirit.. you must strike on Allah"

I gave him lovely sight, I kissed his cheek. I whispered some words of Tahuid into his ear. "Laa ilaaha illallah..." I wished he was able to say what I whispered.  I made him sure if his fate to face Allah, it would become a ticket into Jannah.

I didn't forget to read Al fatihah, some verses of syifa'.   I always read This verse when there are children,  grandchild, nephew sick.  Alhamdulillah, after reading the verses, he looked easy.

As while leaving him to scan his brain.  They asked me to manage administration. I knew to send message into Tiga Dara Group. At finally, they helped to inform and to pray for my husband's healty from friends of AMK, and the others of groups.

Ya Allah, my HP was filled empty, I didn't have sufficient to send messages to another. I had initiative to go home picking up charger and stuffs. In out of mind, there were many friends outside of hospital  when I went out of Emergency room.  Alhamdulillah, in fact one of my friends took me home.

Getting home, my neighbor came asking how my husband was.  The news of accident became a viral. Then, after having all needs, I rushed to hospital.  I ride motor cycle in spite of offering me to hospital.

When I arrived at Emergency room, I did't see my husband, he seemed to take a scan. I just pray for him, may Allah gave him a better than before.

A few minutes,  my husband had come back to his room. One of nurses said that result of scan could be given by doctor.  Yet, I got information that my husband's brain bleed and abscess and spread around his head. They asked me to be patient.

Patience just obligated to wait at emergency room not more two persons.  I was so thankful when a nurse gave me a seat.

I kept on praying some verses while having sight nurse sewing my husband's right thumb of foot.  He got six sew on it. However, the blood keep flowing out.  The nurse said that there was a bleeding inside of artery. I knew how it is so suffer. The nurse asked me to help taking alcohol in the cupboard of sterile. Then, asking me to help handing the covering clothe of aurat. He looked screaming so loud.  How poor he is.

This condition made me think, a few weeks ago before it happened, my husband felt no healthy, looked pale, and sleepy. He probably felt tired after traveling back from Banyuwangi, Pasuruan and drove my sister to air port for umrah.

" Do you feel sick, not healty ? Your around eyes look blacky"  I asked him at the moment.

"How you know "  he answered while his facelooking behind.

If only I went out of DKT and didn't share luck on friday to hellicab who waited to passangers near gapuro, it maybe make his hurt more. Even more, he stroke a car passing by because of he was crossing the road.  It was so awful when I imagined. I felt sure so many fadhilah when we share lucks to anyone, not to clean our self of sins only, but we also get lucks.

I just kept on praying and praying. I prayed so hopeful, asked for Allah by reading Yasin and syifa' as wasilah and karomah from Allah.   Astaghfirullah, Ya Allah.. forgive us.

I prepared possibilities something would happen. Whatever determinate of Allah. I would be ready and easy on Allah's dignity. Whatever he was, he is always my mine.  Such as Firman Allah on QS al- Baqarah: 286 "Allah tidak menimpakan musibah diluar kesanggupan hambanya" Insyaallah aku pasti bisa menghadapi dan melaluinya.

My imagines suddenly broke up, one of nurse told me to be ready moving into the room of cares..,
how it could be as soon..? ...  was he not conscious yet?

+ + + + + + +

Untuk mengetahui kisah selanjutnya, bagaimana kondisi di ruang perawatan yang mengaduk-aduk emosi  dan bagaimana perjuangan menjelang operasi. Yok tunggu kisahnya yaa. Bersambung....🙏😊
